Pitt (left) and Fox face each other, their heads in profile. Pitt's face, hair, and elegant riding-dress are spattered with mud; he holds a hat and switch, and stands with bent knees, saying, "These are the Blessed effects of Your Patriotism, & be D------to you." Fox, neatly dressed and very fat, holding his hands to his chest, grins broadly, saying: "Why dost thou shake thy Dirty Locks at me ? Thou canst not say I did it - Muddy Banquo!" BM 8705
