First published in 1735 one of a series of views of Venice after the drawings of Canaletto with the general title of ”Urbis Venetiarum Prospectus Celebriores ex Antonii Canal”. Visentini's etchings are distinguished in the confidence and authority of their perspectival projection and etched line.
