An invalid sits, with contorted features, at a table (l.) on which are basin, tea-pot, medicine-bottle, glass. His head is held by a compassionate friend, standing behind him. He wears night-cap, shirt, breeches, and unbuttoned waistcoat. One of a set, all with the same imprint. All are studies in facial expression, and all appear in Humphrey's shop-window in BM 11100 B M 10304
