A delicately etched portrait of a street sellers only very loosely based on Hogarth. The print is very similar to Hogarth’s portrait of the shrimp girl. This girl, however, balances a large tub of whey on her head, a cup dangling from one side. In the background is a view of St. Martin’s in the Fields. There is a pair to this engraving titled ‘Pies’
